Animals Running at Large
It is unlawful for any dog or cat to run at large. A dog or cat is considered running at large if it is not upon the premises of its owner or is not on a leash and under the control of a person physically able to control the animal. All dogs or cats found to be running at large shall be promptly impounded by the Chief of Police, or any person authorized by him for this purpose.

Restrictions on Household Pets
An individual can house no more than three (3) dogs or three (3) cats (or any combination thereof) over the age of four (4) months within any one household.

Animal Control
The Police Department is responsible for animal control within the Village for all domestic animals. Local wildlife is the responsibility of the property owner, unless the animal is a public health threat, if so please dial 9-1-1.

Chickens
Chickens are allowed within the Village limits.
